皇马提供了一份五年的合同，但计划是先将他外租两年。

巴图里纳是一位进攻型中场球员，是莫德里奇的粉丝，但他希望从夏天开始立即成为一支顶级球队的固定成员。

巴萨、马竞和曼联也对他表示兴趣。巴图里纳计划在赛季结束后离开萨格勒布迪纳摩，并认为德甲是完美的下一步。目前并没有协议，标价约为2000-2500万欧元。
