亨利也在那个赛季随阿森纳打进了欧冠决赛，但莱曼上半场染红离场，阿森纳最终1-2被巴萨逆转。

亨利在1999年从尤文加盟阿森纳，在2007年转会巴萨，11-12赛季曾短暂从美职联租借回归。他共为阿森纳效力8年，出场377次，打进229球并送出103记助攻。
