2023年夏天，巴因德尔于以430万英镑转会费从费内巴切加盟曼联，加盟球队后2周时间，他没有介绍给滕哈赫。在最初的几周训练中，巴因德尔只和俱乐部的门将教练待在一起，从来没有和滕哈赫交谈过。
