斯科尔斯在采访中说道：“他是我见过踢球风格最接近齐达内的人，无论是在接球和处理球等环节还是在摆脱方面。之前，我听说在训练中，有一个年轻的小伙子在对阵卡塞米罗时表现出色，有时甚至表现得比他还好，但你必须要能够在比赛中证明这一点，让大家看到。

“我第一次见到他的时候就对他的那种镇定印象深刻，他接球的时候那种自信的样子，让你不敢相信这是他这种年龄的球员所能够做到的。”
